Abstract

Three-dimensional incompressible Orr-Sommerfeld equation (without curvature effects)was solved using Mack method. The most spatial amplified wavelength of this model is 4mm under the optimal experiment condition. On this basis, the wavelengths of 6mm and 7mm greater than 4mm were selected which are representative, and their stationary waves and harmonics' spatial amplification were calculated. The dominating wavelength and its development trend in the entire laminar flow area were investigated. The silk-screen method was used to add artificial roughness on the leading edge to introduce 6mm and 7mm stationary wavelength. Through sublimation method the computation and theory analysis were verified.
