Abstract
The internal SiC-MoSi2-TiSi2 coating for C/C composites made by pack cementation was studied. The influencing factor was analyzed when the coating was made. It is discovered that the optimum temperature was 2573 K, the prepared time was 2 h and the mixture ratio of MoSi2 and TiC was 5:2. Oxidation test shows that the weight loss of the SiC-MoSi2-TiSi2 coated C/C composites characterized by excellent thermal shock resistance is only 2.18% (the weight loss rate is 1.17×10-4g/(cm2·h)) at 1773 K for 49 h.
