Abstract

Due to the complex lithology of conglomerate reservoir, its resistivity logging response is influenced by rock skeleton and pore structure. The numerical models of oleophilic and hydrophilic conglomerate formation are established. The three-dimensional numerical simulation method for calculating the resistivity of conglomerate formation in constant electric field and the grid dividing method of complex conglomerate formation model based on COMSOL software are studied, and the current distribution in anisotropic conglomerate formation is analyzed. The relationship between resistivity and oil saturation of the conglomerate formation is revealed, and the method for calculating the lithology parameters of anisotropic conglomerate formation based on the data fitting of resistivity index and oil saturation is presented. The study results in this paper can provide the theoretical foundation for evaluation and interpretation of conglomerate reservoirs, and expand the understanding of anisotropy.
