Abstract

Much attention has been given to GPS/INS integrated navigation system in past few years. But, because of high-cost of INS, the application of GPS/INS system was affected in many fields. In this paper, a low-cost dynamic measurement unit (DMU) and GPS are integrated using a kind of information fusion algorithm. The most remarkable characteristics of this kind integrated system is its low cost. Some simulations are done, results indicate that this kind of integrated system not only has a good performance and price ratio, but also has low-cost, small volume and excellent stability.
