Abstract
The deep drawing process of the titanium alloy Ti-50A cylinder was studied by finite element method (FEM) simulation technology in the project. Based on analysis for the deep drawing process of the titanium alloy Ti-50A cylinder, a practical elasto-plastic FEM model was established and the key technologic problems were dealt with reasonably. These problems includes the chosen of the proper constitutive equations for titanium alloy Ti-50A, contact way and the adaptive remeshing. Conducting of comparison between the finite element simulation and actual situation, the feasibility of the technical method was proved.
