Abstract

Copper (II), Phenylalanine (Phe) and their complexes all have strong ultraviolet absorptions. In order to obtain the absorbance of Cu(II) ∼ Phe complexes, we set up three reference method, discussed the influence of pH to the formation of the complexes, and justified that when pH≥7.5, only. 1 : 2 (Cu : Phe) complex was formed. We further detected stability constants of Cu(II) ∼ Phe complexes using corresponding solution method.
