Abstract

ICT (Industrial Computed Tomography) was used to the cross-sectional measurement. With measurement data obtained for a series of cross-sections, geometrical model of the part was constructed. A system incorporating ICT and RP&M (Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing) was designed. ICT is used for 3D input and RP&M is used for product-prototype output.
