Abstract

Northwest Institute for Nonferrous Metal Research (NIN) is one of the main units for the R & D of titanium alloys. NIN devotes to research titanium alloys for more than 40 years and has received many achievements, especially in the new titanium alloys. NIN has designed, researched and develops many new kinds of titanium alloys, for example TC21, Ti75, Ti-B19, CT20, Til2LC, TP650 and so on. This paper reviews the new alloys developed by NIN since the eighth national five-year plans in China.
