Abstract

In order to analyze the flow and heat transfer characteristics, the heat-fluid coupling of aero-engine pipeline system was investigated. A general simulation block library was developed and a characteristic analysis platform of aero-engine pipeline system was constructed through the simulation tool box Simulink of MATLAB. Based on the simulation platform the calculation model of flow and heat-fluid coupling was established. The fluid pressure, mass flow rate and temperature, and node temperature of internal structure in pipeline system could be achieved. The results of the calculation are in accordance with the Flowmaster calculation results. Comparison between experimental data with calculated values shows that the relative error of pressure and mass flow rate is less than 6.5%. The network model with a high accuracy can be built by using the simulation platform, which improves the modeling efficiency and could be applied to the design, modification of aero-engine pipeline system.
