Service-driven manufacturing information processing for digital manufacturing workshop

Abstract

In this paper, key issues for implementing a serive-driven manufacturing information processing mechanism coupled with production process are discussed. The service-oriented architecture sppporting the manufacturing information management model and running logic have been descrixinbed in detail. How to enabling the service-drived model, several key technologies have been analyzed and discussed deeply. These technologies include service model for encapsulating computer numeric control machining tool, wireless network technology-based information processing technology, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology for digital manufacturing process information management and product process simulation. Finally, in order to demonstrate methodology mentioned above, a basic running logic for model has been evaluated in the background of a digital manufacturing workshop .
