Abstract

Curvelet Transform , as a method of Multi-scale Geometric Analysis(MGA), is more suitable for image processing and contains more directional information. In this paper, the method of integrating SAR image and MS image are proposed based on Curvelet transform and Activity Measure(AM) is described in detail. SAR image and MS image are given by Curvelet transform to obtain coarse coefficients and detail coefficients. Then, the inverse transform is applied to obtain the fusion product. Finally use Degree of Distortion (DoD) and Difference Coefficient (DC) etc. to evaluate the result. The results of experiment indicate that the method excels those of based on IHS or wavelet transform in preserving spectral information and enhancing resolution.
