Abstract
There are a lot of uncertain factors and stochastic fluctuate in engineering design, which make the quality of product unstable. Robust design is a useful way to make the quality insensitive to these factors. Based on the reliability design theory and the reliability sensitivity analysis method, a numerical method for reliability-based robust optimization design was proposed. A Lagrange arithmetic operator was introduced to construct a problem without restriction .Wedge ring structure is a common connection way extensively used in torpedo. It was analyzed using the method referred. The emulation and computed results are proved valid. According to the method presented, the reliability-based robust optimization designs for mechanical production in practical engineering are obtained.
