Abstract

The rheological properties of two kinds of lithium greases under different cooling conditions were studied by using HAAK rheometer. From the rheological viewpoint, the dynamic changes and the rheological parameters (colloid stability and mechanical stability) of lithium greases were investigated. The results show that the greases rheology was in good agreement with their basic properties. And in the range of experiments, the greases in room air had reversible changes of the microstructures, while those in iced water were destroyed irreversibly.
