Abstract

With the research boom of artificial intelligence, there is less and less human involvement in the military. Against the background of rapid development of autonomous perception technology and autonomous decision-making technology, UAVs gradually enter the era of autonomy and present intelligent performance characteristics. How to evaluate the autonomous capability of UAVs has become a new challenge for the evaluation of UAV combat effectiveness. This paper first discusses the evolution of the connotation of UAV autonomy, summarizes the research progress of domestic and foreign UAV autonomy evaluation methods in different periods and contexts, conducts a comparative analysis based on the objects and needs of the evaluation, and finally analyzes the difficulties in the development of index systems and evaluation methods based on the current UAV autonomy evaluation research progress, and discusses the development trend of UAV autonomy evaluation in the future.
