Abstract
The separation technology of fairing under low altitude and high speed is urgently needed to improve the carrying capacity of the aircraft and meet the demand of the special trajectory. It requires more attention on the coupled multi-factor and is difficult to achieve the goal, compared to the current conventional fairing separation. Focusing on the separation technique of the low-altitude and high-speed fairing separation movement, the vital difficulties and development were summarized according to the type of fairing, separation methods, and technical difficulties. Then the researches on aerodynamic calculation of fairing, the structure design of fairing cover, the calculation of kinematics and dynamics during the separation process were described in detail. Based on the engineering practices and considering the complex working condition, a method based on dynamics simulation to study the low-altitude and high-speed fairing separation movement was proposed.Based on the results from the application case, the existing problems and trends of its development in future were presented.
