Abstract

This review article introduces the present research state of the Mg-B binary system, including a summary on phase species, phase transformation relationship, phase diagram and diffusion behavior between Mg and B. The key problems and significance on the research working were discussed. Finally, the potential research direction of Mg-B binary system was viewed.
