Abstract

An in-depth analysis of the concept, composition, and hierarchical division of the modular aircraft open system architecture provides solid theoretical support for future aircraft system design. First, this paper reviews the application background and development history of open system architecture, emphasizing its key role in improving system flexibility and scalability. Then, by comparing research achievements and practical experiences in foreign open system architecture, it summarizes the main characteristics of international aircraft architectures. Accordingly, this study proposes a hierarchical structure for the modular aircraft open system architecture, consisting of a three-level logical layer and a four-level physical layer. Compared with WOSA, it clarifies the boundary between logical and physical modules, rendering the architecture clearer and easier to disassemble. The application results demonstrate that the proposed hierarchical architecture offers new ideas and methods for increasing the openness of aircraft systems and simplifying simulation testing.
