Research on fault graph model of complex system based on fuzzy probability

Abstract

A model was presented to describe the fault relation of complex systems, the model abstracted a complex system as a directed graph that was described by ternary combination, using graph theory and object-oriented method. The model introduced fuzzy state and probability information of faults, which depicted the characteristics that the fault dependence relation was variational along with the state of system or parts. The definition of object classes, layer decomposition method and characteristics of the model were depicted. Finally, the applications in fault diagnosis of complex machinery and electronic systems are used to validate the applicability of the model.
