Research on Architecture and Time-delay of Metallurgical Industry Cloud Control System

Abstract

As a process industry, the metallurgical industry has harsh production conditions and complex control systems, making it difficult to achieve optimal operation, while the rise of cloud computing has brought new ideas to the metallurgical industry control in recent years. Cloud control system (CCS) is the application of cloud computing in industrial control schemes. According to the existing metallurgical industry control architecture, this paper proposes a structure of a metallurgical industry CCS. By analyzing the internal characteristics of the system, the system delay is decomposed into cloud delay and network delay, and the CCS time-delay model is obtained. Based on the established metallurgical industry CCS time-delay model, we design the delay controller by using state feedback and pole configuration methods, and propose a detailed internal structure model of the system. Finally, the typical links are simulated according to common signals in the metallurgical industry. The results show that the designed delay controller significantly improves the control performance of the metallurgical CCS.
