Abstract

In order to comply with the existing performance standard requirements or specifications, a new computational method is proposed for take-off and landing performance, which deals with the characteristics of the high precision of calculation parameters in the process of take-off and landing by flight simulation technique. A systematic aircraft model is constructed in detail, including aerodynamic model, engine model, landing gear model, mass model and nonlinear motion equation model. According to flight performance calculation standards and pilot control specifications, the different take-off modes and landing process are studied. Besides, one engine inoperative (OEI) take-off, angle of attack (AoA) hold take-off, standard take-off, reject take-off and landing simulation process are designed. Finally, the corresponding performance computer software is developed to achieve the goal of accuracy and rapid calculation. Simulation result shows that standard take-off distance is related to specified speed, AoA hold take-off distance is longer than standard take-off which needs satisfy speed and AoA requirements, and this method is appropriate for calculating the specific aircraft take-off and landing performance.
