Abstract

A novel estimation algorithm of the time delay used in the cooperative detection within multi-sensor is presented in this paper. The cooperative detection within multi-sensor or sensors network is wildly used in the many fields, such as the flight target detection of radars network. The time delay is an important error factor in the cooperative detection in radars network, which is caused by the data transmission and processing in the communication links. To compensate the difference of time coordinates and time delay, the time delay estimation and data alignment method based on the maneuvering prediction are proposed to solve the detection mismatched loss before the data fusion. The simulation results at the end of paper show that position of flight target could be detected accurately and the time delay could be compensated by the estimation algorithm with the maneuvering prediction.
