Abstract

The high-Tc superconductor YBCO single domain of Ø30 mm×15 mm size is fabricated by top seed powder melting process. The levitation force is measured to 43 N at 77 K in ZFC with 0.5 T NdFeB magnet. The trapped magnetic field Btr is measured to 380 mT at 77 K after being magnetization in static field 2 T. We observe the 211 particles distribution on ab- and ac- plane with optical microscopy. The size of 211 particles is around 1-3μm. From the magnetic flux pinning we analyse the effect of the 211 particles size on the magnetic levitation force and trapped magnetic filed.
