Abstract

Phase transformation and microstructure characteristics in hot rolled TB-13 alloy were investigated by means of transmission electron microscopy and dilatometric analysis. Besides, the roles of deformation on m phase transformation had been discussed. Results showed that phase transformation in hot rolled TB-13 alloy during continuous heating including four stages, β→-ellipsoidal ω, β+ω→acicular α, β→lamellar α, lamellar α→β, The formation of m was accelerated and the average activation energy for β→α transformation was decreased by hot rolling because the defects introduced by hot rolling assisted the nucleation of w phase.
