Abstract

The oil fume effect of the range hood is one of the important technical indicators, which provides quantitative data support for the improvement of the equipment and standardization evaluation. However, traditional performance test experiments have high environmental requirements and measurement is difficult. We propose a new comprehensive evaluation method for oil fume exhausting performance by quantifying the diffusion area of oil fume and using auxiliary measurement data of volatile compounds (VOC) in the oil fume, and integrating it into a whole-process testing system. First, the quantified result of oil fume is obtained by using the oil fume diffusion area extraction algorithm based on background difference method proposed in this paper; Then use the sensor array to obtain VOC data; Finally, comprehensive quantitative indicators are obtained through multi-source data fusion. The experimental results demonstrate that the evaluation method proposed in this paper has the advantages of low test environment requirements, high accuracy and high test repeatability.
