Abstract

Deformation behavior of SiC particle reinforced Al matrix composites has been investigated through the hot compression test carried out in the temperature 713-773 K and strain rate 0.001-1 s-1. Based on the experimental data and Zener-Hollomon parameter, the constitutive equation is modeled and discussed. Through the analysis, the constitutive equation is further optimized. As a result, the new optimization equation can improve the validity of application.
