Abstract
The blade of axial turbocharger was parameterized into to a three dimensional model, and an optimization design platform was introduced for turbocharger turbine blade design. The platform was based on the iSIGHT software and implemented by NUME-CA, ANSYS and centrifugal stress code which is a fortran program coded by the authors. This platform can study aerodynamics, structure and vibration of the blade of turbocharger simultaneously. And an illustration had been studied. The result of optimization shows that the overall performance of the blade is improved remarkably. The method can be used to the blade design and to the whole turbocharger design.
