Abstract
The information sharing principle for the federerated information filter (FIF) without feedback and reset is firstly investigated. An optimal information sharing algorithm for the FIF is theoretically developed to obtain a high fusion accuracy, by which the information sharing factor for each local filter are adaptively evaluated according to the ratio of its measurement information to the total measurement information. Compared with those available methods (Such as Carlson's), this algorithm will yield a higher global fusion accuracy. Theoretical analysis and simulation show the result is effective.
