Abstract
A review was made on the principles, the advantages and disadvantages, as well as the applications of various methods for preparing the Bi-based superconductor powders, which cover the conventional solid state reaction method, the solution self-propagating high-temperature synthesis, the co-precipitation method, the sol-gel process, the freeze-drying method, the solvent evaporating method, and the micro-emulsion based powder synthesis method.
