Abstract
Process modelling of sheet metal ironing and optimizing the process data by means of upper-bound theorem and the minimum energy principle is proposed. Experimental results of H62 and H68 verified that the velocity field proposed in this paper is suitable for simulating deformation process of ironing with conical die and the calculation method is useful in design of sheet forming.
