Abstract

In engineering, infrared image data and status data need to be gathered during the test of infrared imaging seeker, in the traditional method, image data and the status data are gathered separately, causing inconvenience and error. In this paper, a design method and an implementation scheme of the infrared image acquisition are proposed. In this method, the infrared image data and the status data are coded in the same data frame which is transmitted from the infrared image seeker to the acquisition system. Then by designing an image data transforming board and a camera file, the frame data that include the image data and status data is acquired through PXI-1422 image acquisition board, realizing the acquisition of image data and status data at the same time. Finally the system test is done on the platform of an infrared imaging seeker. The results show that this imaging system can continually acquire, save and show the real-time high-speed infrared image data together with the status data. The system performs reliably and effectively.
