Abstract

Due to the difficult problem of integration between evaluation representation and feedback information in the process of product manufacturability evaluation, this paper proposed a novel theoretical framework based on Reverse Mapping and Feedback Model (RMFM). By incorporating feedback links in traditional forward BOM transformation process and constructing mapping rules between evaluation criteria and design parameters, a virtual reverse transformation among BOM was completed. Through feedback information from downstream BOM and mapping rules, the manufacturability evaluation of product was supported effectively.
