Abstract
A method based on DCT-domains of color channels was proposed. Digital watermarking was used to prevent illicit copying and distribution of copyrighted materials. This method embedded digital watermarking information into DCT-domains of color channels. The correlation values between the color-channel DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform) coefficients were satisfied through utilizing statistical characteristics; by means of these characteristics the selected sets of DCT coefficients could be modified to make the correlation coefficients show such specific distribution that a binary string could embedded into the image. Experimental results demonstrate that the watermark produced by this method is robust against attacks by most of the image and signal processing techniques.
