Abstract
A multi-wall carbon nanotube derivative was obtained using hydrogen bonding and a steric effect with a pluronic copolymer. The pluronic copolymer content is 75.5 wt.% corresponding to a dense surface coverage of one modifying molecule per 390 carbon atoms of the nanotube. The material is a waxy solid at room temperature which melts and behaves like a liquid at 45 °C.
