Abstract

In order to establish the engine models used in the flight simulator, the modeling and simulation methods of the turbofan engine were studied. According to the engine functional principle, control law, and vast test data, and based on the design of model structures using modularization methods, the engine state variable models and precise function models were developed using the component modeling method. In the process of modeling, the rotor dynamic models, heat-sink dynamic models and control system models, which determine the accuracy of simulation, were developed in detail. The steady state and dynamic state data were used as input files of models which satisfy the real-time characteristics of simulation and enhance the software commonality and augment capability. The simulation results show that the established models can satisfy the real-time characteristics and fidelity of the flight simulator.
