Abstract

The use of power electronic devices in more electric aircraft is pervasive, thus higher requirements of power quality have been proposed in the aircraft. Moreover, the protection and control logic of the aircraft power supply system plays an important role in aircraft systematic design, which may influence reliability, redundancy and fault tolerance. Considering the multi-domain characteristics of the more electric aircraft, which consists of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and magnetic subsystems, integrated simulation is an effective way to find problems to support effective design of aircraft power supply system. In this paper, Dymola software is adopted to simulate the aircraft power supply systems, to be more precise, the model is built by Modelica language or visual components. The obtained simulation results can be used as reference for designing of aircraft power supply system.
