Modeling and analyzing approach of self-adaptively matching tolerance and performance

Abstract

To establish mapping relationship between tolerance and performance, a modeling and analyzing approach of self-adaptive matching tolerance and performance was proposed. Statistics between tolerance and performance were obtained by experiments. Based on this, mathematical model between tolerance and performance was solved by least square method. By using parametric approach, self-adaptive matching mathematical model between tolerance and performance was set up. Tolerance and performance matching of assembly dimension chain was also analyzed. Finally, aircraft component was taken as example to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the method.
