Abstract

This work reports a novel \pm 45 dual-polarized base-station antenna element with small aperture and low profile utilizing non-uniform meta-surface. The whole size of the antenna element is 119.5∗119.5∗72mm 0.32, making it competitive in terms of miniaturization. The antenna exhibits bandwidth from 0.69 to 0.96 GHz, which covers the lower operating band of base station. Simulated results show that stable radiation pattern and high port isolation are achieved over the operating frequency band.
