Abstract

The microstructure and properties of electroless plated Ni - P coating are systemically investigated by employing XRD, SEM, electrochemical anodic polarization curve measurement, and wear test. The results show that electroless Ni - P has excellent corrosion and wear resistance. However, heat treatment can improve the wear resistance remarkably but reduce the corrosion resistance of the coating.
