MAM2: A novel mixed adaptive messaging middleware

Abstract

Messaging has been widely used in large scale distributed application of bank, finance, local data center, and even military applpications. Current messaging service is either Subscribe-Publish (SP) or Point-to-Point (PTP) mode. But neither modes can satisfy the requirements of these applications. This paper introduces a Mixed Adaptive Message Middleware (MAM2) which includes advantages of both modes. MAM2 provides flexible, adaptive, high efficiency, and routing based on content messaging service for users. MAM2's prototype has been implemented and it is in testing stage.
