Abstract
Based on the bottom-up electrochemical deposition method, we prepare optical multiband left-handed metamaterial with bilayer silver dendrite on a single ITO glass substrate by improved process. We test transmission spectrum and planner focusing effect of sample. The experimental results verify the left-handed behavior. When a white light was incident along the central line of left-handed heterostructure, a bright color strip was obserbed. It was indicated that each frequency component was stopped at a different air core thickness, leading to the spatial separation of its spectrum, i.e. trapped rainbow effect.
