Abstract

The principle of TECS (Total Energy Control System) Control-Law is applied to the control of Lateral Directional Axis of aircraft, utilizing the combination of bias control and total energy decoupling. Rolling mode and yawing mode are decoupled, and the control system with zero steady-state error is established. One type of aerotransport is simulated with aforementioned method. Simulation results show that the total energy control based on the longitudinal axis is capable for the lateral axis control. Accurate signal tracking of yaw angle and sideslip angle, as well as decoupling of rolling mode and yawing mode can be achieved.
