Abstract

Traditional combat model can't describe the littoral engagement between a well equipped and trained modern navy and a land forces equipped with Anti-ship Cruise Missile (ASCM). The attributes of littoral engagement in high-tech age were analyzed. Then a new Land-Sea Combat Model was represented. In the new model, the attrition of naval forces obeys the Hughes' Salvo Model. Lanchester Linear Law and Square Law are combined to describe aggregate attrition of land forces, through introducing the scouting coefficient. The analysis of simulation results can get four conclusions, which are of great reference value for the research of combat course of littoral engagement in High-Tech Warfare. The new combat model can provide theoretical help to construct combat simulation system in littoral regions.
