Abstract
CuNiIn soft film and Cr-N hard film were deposited on titanium alloy by ion-beam-assisted deposition. CuNiIn film provides satisfactory lubrication properties for titanium alloy, and Cr-N film protects the substrate by maintaining integrity at both room temperature and 500 °C.
