Abstract

In this paper we introduce the application of multiscale framework in data fusion, describe several kinds of multiscale data fusion algorithms in detail. Multiscale smoothing algorithm is a static one. It is highly parallelizable and extremely efficient. Dynamic multiscale - data- fusion algorithm using wavelet transform includes temporal dynamics and it is an optimal distributed filtering algorithm. Multiscale recursive estimation algorithm is computationally efficient and suitable for large - scale dynamic systems.
