Integrated optimization design of continuum structure topology optimization/control based on genetic algorithm

Abstract

The integrated optimization design method considering several kind of design variables, which include the structural topology, the placements and the numbers of actuators as well as the control system parameters of a cantilever piezoelectric intelligent plate, is investigated. This method is seldom to be noticed before. The realization of simultaneous optimization proposed in this paper is used by combining design of linear quadratic optimal control system based coupled modal space with strategies based on genetic algorithm and mathematical morphology. Results of numerical example show that the presented method is rational and effective, which can produce clear structural topology and high control performance.
