Integrated decision for airborne weapon systems based on Bayesian networks

Abstract

The tactical operation and effective zone of the softkill and hardkill weapon systems were analyzed, and the coordination criteria of the softkill and hardkill weapon systems were presented. The knowledge representation of the integrated decision of the softkill and hardkill weapon systems using the Bayesian networks was discussed, and the three types' nodes of the integrated decision network were brought forward, which were situation node, sensor node and weapon node. The steps on construct a Bayesian networks for the integrated decision were presented. Finally, the process of how to use the Bayesian networks for the integrated decision of the softkill and hardkill weapon systems was showed by an example.
