Abstract

The numerical simulation three-dimensional and two-phase turbulent reactive flow in a annular combustor is conducted and the performance of combustion from two aspects of the combustor structure and multiple injections is discussed, where RSM Reynolds-stress turbulence model, EBU-Arreniue combustion model and discrete ordinate radiation model are employed. The numerical results indicate that under the condition of unchanged total mass of air and fuel, great effect on the average temperature and velocity achieves at the combustor outlet, while the distribution of the outlet temperature the air flow in the combustion are strongly disturbed. The changed number of injectors does not affect the average temperature and velocity of the outlet, but for the distribution of the temperature, hot spots somewhere.
