Abstract

A global optimal algorithm called immunity algorithm, which was proposed based on the theory of immunity in biology was introduced. First, the principle and approach of immunity algorithm for stacking sequence optimization of composite laminated was present. Then, the utility of this algorithm was examined by the result of two illustrative examples. Finally it was discussed how to choose the most appropriate size of the memory antibodies in order to increase the immunity algorithm's validity.
