Abstract
Enhanced oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures is crucial for ultra-high-temperature materials. In a recent issue of Advanced Materials, Chu's group developed high-entropy carbides with exceptional oxidation resistance up to 3,600°C, which provides guidance for the design of advanced ultra-high-temperature thermal protection materials.
