Fixed-Time Second Order Sliding Mode Guidance Law for Interceptors with Impact Angle Constraints

Abstract

This paper presents a fixed-time second order sliding mode guidance law for interceptors with impact angle constraints. Firstly, the zero placement principle of close-loop system is carried out, and it make it convenient to adjust the state motion trajectory and improve the dynamic performance. Then, a novel fixed-time convergent super-twisting guidance law is proposed based on this principle. The efficiency of proposed algorithm are demonstrated through simulations under separated scenarios, and it is shown the desired impact angle can be guaranteed within fixed convergence time.
